Yesterday in celebration of Law Day, the Informed Voters Project, the League of Women Voters of Miami-Dade County, Miami Dade College, and WLRN hosted an engaging panel discussion on the history and impact of the 14th Amendment and the importance of preserving judicial independence. Panelists included Florida Eleventh Judicial Circuit Chief Judge Bertila Soto, Judge Lisa Walsh and Judge Sarah Zabel, and moderator Tom Hudson WLRN Vice President of News.
