On Saturday, September 16th, the American Bar Association Business Law Section Judges Initiative Committee will present A Celebration of Constitution Day: The War on Fair and Impartial Courts and Its Potential Impact on Businesses Operating in the United States. Committee Chair Honorable Clifton Newman will host the session, commemorating Constitution Day, with a panel of National thought leaders on pressing issues impacting our Courts. The panel will include:
Hon. Tani Cantil-Sakauye, Chief Justice of California Supreme Court; Co-chair of the Informed Voters, Fair Judges Project of the NAWJ;
Hon. Robin Hudson, Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court; Co-chair NAWJ Judicial Independence Committee;
Alicia Bannon, Senior Counsel, Democracy Program; Brennan Center for Justice at New York University; and
Steve Puiszis, Partner and Chair of Defense Research Institute’s Center for Law and Public Policy; Hinshaw Culbertson.

This program will take place as part of the ABA Business Law Section Annual Meeting on Saturday, September 16th from 10:30a – 12:00p in Chicago. Linda Leali, co-chair of the Informed Voters, Fair Judges Project coordinated the session.
