The 39th Annual National Association of Women Judges Conference took place on October 11 – 15 in Atlanta, Georgia. Informed Voters, Fair Judges was on display at the Conference, including a beautiful exhibit providing program and resource highlights as well as a presentation by Florida Supreme Court Justice Barbara Pariente, Co-chair of the NAWJ Judicial Independence Committee. Justice Pariente presented the resources available on the IVP website that teach about fair, impartial, and independent courts.
Also in attendance at the conference was Justice Robin Hudson, Co-chair of the NAWJ Judicial Independence Committee, Judge Lisa Walsh, Past President of NAWJ from Miami, Florida, and Attorney Linda Leali, IVP Co-chair. IVP enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with judges from throughout the United States and around the world.
